I believe that every day the Father wants us to enjoy the victory that He has provided for us. Therefore, we always have our portion of breakthrough and victory as His children.

Ephesians 1: 3 (NKJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

The Father wants us to be able to live our daily lives without any struggle! However, the devil or the enemy doesn’t, they always attempt to make us not receive or enjoy the portion of victory. How will the enemy sabotage it? By sending the signals of DISTRACTION to our spirit man in the form of series of facts or data that intentionally cut off the track of the Father’s provision for us. The enemy always initiates to rob and mold our mindset (our way of thought or the perspective) which causes us feel unworthy or even assume that there is no provision from the Father! As a consequence, we unconsciously REFUSE to BELIEVE it and willingly IGNORE the Father’s provision and prefer to choose the human path by DEPENDING on our own strength!

Let say someone is sick, no matter the kind of the disease in any degree he will get disturbed. The heavier the disease, the heavier the suffering he has to bear (the torture that he has to deal with). The symptoms will be sent to his mind consciously or not. The purpose is to make someone ‘diverts’ to give an eye the signal that is sent by the disease as if without stopping all day either in a small scale or a big one. When our FOCUS starts to DIVERT to the disease then even someone strong will feel fearful, worried and limp.

If it goes on, time over time it will start to create SPIRITUAL LEAKAGE. Someone who is in the first full of joy, he now starts to feel his joy get reduced until it is ‘drained out’ – the feeling of empty and arid. Does he really feel empty? Actually not. Because our mind is designed to become a vessel that always holds something. So now what does fill our mind? Yes, that pain, fear, worry, or depression. In short, ‘grief’ now starts to take over and fill the vessel of our mind. But consciously our mind has been successfully hijacked or sabotaged by the enemy.

The Holy Spirit reminds me, like an aircraft that has a certain destination. But because of one thing or another, either security negligence or terrorist cunning, the terrorists managed to enter the aircraft while carrying weapons. They were in action and managed to break into the cockpit to sabotage the existing pilots. As a result, now the destination is diverted to where the terrorists want to fulfill their ambition or evil plan!

The Bible records the similar occurrence in the book of Genesis 11: 31, that is the journey of Terah with his family set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan. Actually Terah had his own destination. But when they came to Haran, Terah recalled the death of his son, Haran, that made he grieved for and lived with the memory of his son. As a consequence, he reluctantly continued his journey. This is a distraction! Terah and his prophetic journey had been sabotaged and halted by the enemy. How important it is that we set our eyes on the aspects of mind and thoughts in our daily lives. Because the weight of the mind is the same as prayer.

Ephesians 3: 20 (NKJV) Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ASK or THINK, according to the POWER that WORKS IN us.

If the enemy successfully sabotages our mind with distraction, the power of our prayer will get loosened and lose its power! There is no more ‘fighting spirit’ to attack the work of the enemy and we will just give in. The Father actually knows our condition that is in struggle or pressure – disease, economic issue, family problem, etc. Apart from our negligence that traps us in trouble, He is still our good Father. He surely initiates to help us through all His ways. He knows our needs before we ask from Him (Matthew 6: 8).

The problem is our mind that has been distracted is like blockaded or hampered by the work of the enemy so that it’s HARD TO BELIEVE for us to receive the Father’s help. Even though we will only receive what the Father has provided by RECEIVING the promise of the WORD and BELIEVING that we have received the fulfillment of the Word (Mark 11: 23).

Therefore, learn to recognize the signals of the distraction that the enemy is sending. All distractions have to be discarded by praying for it – pray in tongues and declare it fervently. Imagine the Word fulfilled in our lives until we feel the enthusiasm of the fulfillment of the Word in our heart. That is the sign that we get reconnected with His reality (the frequency of our heart and mind aligned with the heaven’s) and RECEIVE what the Father has provided in the spirit is now TAKING PLACE in the physical realm.

How if we find it difficult to imagine the fulfillment of the Word in our mind? Usually it is easier to not believe. Why don’t we easily believe? The answer is simple, because our heart and mind is full of facts and data. For a long time, it might have been crusty and formed certain arguments that reject the Word.

So our task now is to drain out the facts and data by our prayers. Refill with the work of the Word and the Spirit. Rub ourselves with the Word, speak it until the crusts of the facts and data eroded and peeled from our heart and mind. Do it diligently. Experience again the reality of God that He is a good Father who always provides us the portion of victory and the best wine. Let it be done! #ILoveGod
