Why do we need to fill our minds with only His words? Inevitably all decisions and our behavior are much determined by what we believe and think.  The Word of God repeatedly reminds His people to solely meditate on His words. It is emphasized repeatedly from the Old Testament to the New Testament. However, it is not easy for us to follow, because of arguments from our own minds that say: “Do our minds can be filled with only the Word? Is it possible? Then what about the others, is it not worth to think? Life is not only about constantly meditating the Word, we must be ‘rational and well balanced’ in this life, and of course, be wise. ”

The Spirit continues to assert me: “Fill your life with only the Word. Don’t delay and procrastinate (considering the future we need to face, the Word should be more concrete and realistic to do). Ignore all other thoughts that are ‘against the knowledge of God ‘and what people say, because I am continuing to look for a clean generation without mixed with worldly principles so as to overcome the world. To be a witness that I am and I am still working. ”

I heard the Spirit say in my heart: “A battle on the basis of belief IS STARTING !!! This is an important period that will determine whether we as a church of God will ‘enter the promised land’ (reign in the power and authority of the Kingdom of Heaven) or not. We have to realize that battle, and at the same time cleansing will start from inside the church !! It will be divided into two groups, those who stand together with Joshua and Caleb, and the others who believe in 10 spies who consider themselves as grasshoppers after seeing the giant inhabitants of the land of Canaan. ”

I really feel giants are actually standing before God’s church!  And intimidating foolhardy.  The giants’ screams shake the basis of beliefs of God’s people!  Those who do not build themselves only by the Word (automatically have another basis of belief) will be shaken.  With various kinds of beliefs mixed with the Word, resulting decisions and actions that are called ‘wisdom’ (actually it is fear).  That is the ‘wisdom’ of the Israelites’ who believed in 10 spies.  To defend their lives they refuse to enter the land of Canaan, consequently, they lost their lives.

That is more or less the condition of believers today, they are not ‘willing to lose their lives’ in order to stand up for their basis of belief.  Unlike Joshua and Caleb, they no longer love their own lives to keep going in the belief they have, they cried out in the midst of people that were all scared (highly risk actions).

Numbers 14: 6-10 (NKJV) “But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes; and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is exceedingly good land. If the LORD delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’ Only do not rebel against the LORD, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the LORD is with us. Do not fear them.” And all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Now the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of meeting before all the children of Israel.

Oftentimes when we are fighting a giant of negative facts (whether it’s in the form of a virus, life challenges, health conditions and so on) in front of us, we open ourselves to hear a lot of things that are not God’s voice.  Those giants have succeeded in becoming a barrier to our spiritual frequency in hearing His Word, and directing us to the human voice and wisdom of the world!  Consequently, our lives are ‘locked down’! The Spirit of Christ in us is blocked by walls of worldly philosophy that are built up by information!

To fight a giant, there is no other way but to use our mouths to speak louder!  In addition to learning from Joshua and Caleb who no longer love their lives in order to stand up for their basis of belief, we can also learn from David who defeated Goliath!  #ILoveGod
