This message is a continuation of yesterday’s message.

We are discussing the importance to make sure every believer has the flow of living water that can bring breakthroughs or changes in the lives of everyone who interacts with him.

Until this time there are many believers who lost their impact or influence because of the absence of the flow of living water in their lives. The reason are :

1. The aspect of holding anything against anyone/ grudge in the heart.

2. The aspects of anxiety and fear

Matthew 6:25 (NKJV) “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, …”

Matthew 6:27 (NASB) “And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?”

Matthew 6:31 (NKJV) “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’”

Matthew 6:32 (NASB) “For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.”

1 Peter 5: 7-8 (NKJV) “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

It is not normal for believers to continue to be ‘disturbed’ by various feelings, hunches or thoughts that cause confusion, anxiety, fear or worry about anything! We have to realize that as soon as we become a New Creation, we are no longer ordinary people, but children of the Most High! Even the Creator has called Himself a Father for us and He is the very best Father!  Before we ask for the needs, He has provided. As a Father, He always designs the best things for us, even He has set a bright and hopeful future for us! He always designs a ‘Happy Ending’ lives for us- if now it is ‘still not happy’, meaning that He is not finished processing our lives. So keep believing and walking in the guidance of His Spirit!

Even when we are inaccurate, as a Father, He remains faithful to His promises! He always strengthens us and makes the way for all kinds of problems that we are facing (1 Corinthians 10:13). So, it’s just normal for us to always live with abundant joy and peace!

Fear and anxiety are ‘schemes’ of the Enemies that make our eyes distracted from focus on Him, so we are no longer attached to Him, but begin to be pulled out of the shadow of His grace’ and begin to rely on our own strength! This is what then makes the flow of living water in our hearts become clogged and we actually live under a curse! (Jeremiah 17: 5-10).

What we should do is make sure our minds are always focused or set on things of the Spirit (Romans 8: 5-6), always thinking about good, positive things that make us always optimistic in living our days. (Philippians 4: 8). For indeed, all thoughts that come across our minds and begin to make us worry or fear are ‘sounds from the spiritual realm’ – the devil is acting like a lion with a roar intimidates and scares all the forest dwellers. This is what clogs the flow of living water in believers! On the contrary, as we continue to ensure our minds are fixed on Christ and the fulfillment of His plan, in fact, our every thought is also a prayer before Him!  (Ephesians 3:20).

I pray, starting today, let everyone who reads the Daily Devotion will find the work of the breakthrough spirit in his life – there is always a flow of living water in his heart. With the flow of living water in you, let us rise in the power of the Spirit to serve this nation! Let us break the chain of the spread of the spirit of fear, anxiety or paranoia that is intimidating Indonesia and even nations because of the Coronavirus outbreak! Let the light of God in your life begin to light the darkness that takes hold of the nations. Stop sharing news that scare people- it has to stop on our smartphones! Instead, let’s viral good news! Be the Agent of Transformation for this nation! #ILoveGod
