These past weeks, the government has declared for social/physical distancing. As believers, God conditions us to no longer GO TO CHURCH but instead became THE CHURCH for others who begin to realize the need for God’s reality.

For so long, churches have always given messages about success, blessings or how to be rich. In times like this, pastors seem like ‘forced’ by God to change their messages to be ‘more biblical’. They have to begin talking about faith, live in dependence on God, serve others and not be selfish by pursuing personal success, and so forth.

In times like this, what we have built in our lives will become our personal ‘lifeboat’. This is why I keep reminding us all: Make sure to respond aggressively to every word God gives us! Picture and declare the words with strong intonation until we are convinced and our hearts are burned by those words! This shows that the nature of the word has been injected into our lives and shows changes in our lives. It is the characteristic of ‘God’s seal is on our foreheads’! (Revelation 7 and 9).

‘The seal on the forehead’ talks about the work of the word of God in our minds and hearts. This is the only guarantee that we will definitely be ‘escaped’ by God from the manifestation of ‘the opening of the bottomless pit’ and ‘the locusts that was given the power like the scorpions’ (Revelations 9:1-4).

With the guarantee from God, surely we are safe! But AS HIS CHURCH on this earth, we are called to shepherd the nations! In time like this, when nations are in darkness, God wants us to become His light that gives hope and direction to those who are manipulated by darkness!

1 Corinthians 13:11-13 (NET Bible) When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. But when I became an adult, I set aside childish ways. For now we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Regardless our spiritual level (children or adults), or our spiritual condition (still struggling with true identity or have found the purpose in life), we still need faith, hope and love! I believe, AS HIS CHURCH on this earth, God called us to impart faith, hope and His love to those who interact with us. Even though we can’t do it ‘face to face’, do everything you can to share it!

You can call someone, make a video call or create a broadcast voice note to reach them. Make sure they, who are manipulated with darkness, find hope in His embrace of love! Let those who are feeling discouraged because they have lived far from God, they can have life in faith when they interact with us!

Romans 1:17 (NET Bible) For the righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel from faith to faith, just as it is written, “The righteous by faith will live.”

1 John 5:4 (NET Bible) because everyone who has been fathered by God conquers the world. This is the conquering power that has conquered the world: our faith.
