In His sovereignty, God can use anyone to do great things. He can do it anytime and anywhere. But that is not God’s concern. He wants our lives to be divine and represent His Kingdom on earth. With a purpose that our lives become divine patterns or divine examples (the truth) and radiate peace and eternal joy. Because this will play an important role in the recovery of all things in these last days (Revelation 21).
All this time, we read in the Bible that the disciples of Jesus were also be used to do great things. They healed the sick and cast out demons. But they were still busy fighting over the positions in the kingdom of Heaven they hoped for and disputed who is the biggest among them. One of them even sold Jesus for his ambitions or personal plan, and some denied Jesus for the sake of being missed from the same persecution. Then almost all disciples experienced great shock and lost their faith when Jesus died on the cross.
Moreover, in the Old Testament, we can also find that there are many figures of Faith that God used extraordinarily but still continued to make inaccuracies. From having some wives, broken families, snatching others’ wives, killing, etc. In short, they did not do the truth accurately, and there was no peace or divine joy in their lives. So the principle is not ‘used or not by God’, but whether we have represented the Kingdom of God completely on earth.
Romans 14: 17-18 (NKJV) “for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.”
Therefore, the focus of our attention must change. Stop ‘preparing yourself to be used by God in extraordinary ways’ because God does not need our preparation to be used by Him. Whenever and wherever by His sovereignty, He can use us. But what should be the focus of our attention is experiencing a renewal of the mind in accordance with the truth (on the foundation of beliefs, heart attitudes, and lifestyles) and ensuring every day we are surrounded by peace and eternal joy (the flow of living water gushed out profusely). That is the life that pleases God.
To live a life that pleases God’s heart, we need the Holy Spirit – He will guide us to walk in the Truth. The Holy Spirit within us will give certain instincts to make our lives become divine. Like praying, reading the Word, declare the Word, and other directions for us to do something. Our part is obeying the Holy Spirit. The more often we obey the Holy Spirit, the more divine our lives. Because the Holy Spirit will make us molded by truth and always radiate peace and divine joy in our daily lives. So that the Spirit can position us in the midst of humans as representatives of Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
Through our lives, all forms of death that make people afraid, worried, anxious, and grieved will be swallowed up by the divine life that flows from within us (Revelation 21). Our lives will be the TENT OF MEETING BETWEEN PEOPLE AND GOD. They will bow down and worship the God we worship! The kingdom of heaven will be real through our lives! #ILoveGod
