Truly, the life of mankind today is so different from the ‘original plan’ God has designed. When God created man, they enter right away into a system of life where they are not required to ‘work’ and sow in order to eat. Man was assigned to rule and reign on the face of this earth.
Today, man keeps struggling to live. Those who fight hard and persevere don’t only get to eat, but they amass riches. Those who struggle like everybody else get the average result. And those who are lacking in skills become poor and find it difficult to live a decent life. That’s the evil system that has been built today.
Genesis 1:26-28 (NASB)
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and SUBDUE it; and RULE over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Most of us think that Adam and Eve was some sort of gardener or farmer in Eden whose job is to sow seeds, maintain the land, and then reap the harvest. That assumption is not Biblical at all. It was so different from God’s plan, for He says: fill, subdue, and rule the earth! It means, God positioned man as a ruler and the extension of His hand on this earth.
What God does, that’s what Adam and Even are supposed to do. What man hears from the Lord, that’s what man should say! However, God doesn’t force. All of them must be done on the foundation of our love to Him alone! Let’s look at Jesus. He is the example of a man whom God desires.
John 5:19 (NASB) Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.
John 5:20 (NASB) For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.
John 5:36 (NASB) But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish—the very works that I do—testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.
John 14:31 (NASB) but so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me. Get up, let us go from here.
Meditating the verses above, I find that God never created man to look for food for their sustenance; God has provided everything! Man only needs to focus on loving God, living from His word, and doing His will!
Although this world is making us busy to pursue daily needs and money, we must stay oriented towards His will alone! Don’t get trapped by the system of this world! And the most important thing is, stay connected to Him! Because without our lives abiding in Him, we can never know His plans and the things of His heart!
John 15:4-5 (NASB)
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.
I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
This is the true essence of our life: abiding in Him! Living only from the reality of His presence! If we abide in Him and live from His word, our life will surely accomplish His will on earth! What God has planned will surely be fulfilled through our lives! #ILoveGod
