Philippians 4:8-9 (TLB)
And now, brothers, as I close this letter, let me say this one more thing: Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about. Keep putting into practice all you learned from me and saw me doing, and the God of peace will be with you.
Romans 8:5-6 (NET Bible)
For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit. For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace.
Our struggle to live in peace should have ended. When we live in the Spirit, we actually live in His unshakable kingdom. What we have is His truth, divine peace, joy, and nothing else.
The work of enemies that try to make our emotions unstable, will never touch our lives again. We are totally secure in God’s presence. As it is impossible for someone to live in ‘two worlds’. We cannot serve two masters! To live in peace is eternal, and it cannot be (should not be) ’stolen’.
How can devils enter God’s world? They cannot! The problem is, where are we? Are we still living in the flesh? Or are we living in the Spirit? Our minds determine our position.
The verses above direct our hearts and minds to focus on the truth, to think of what is right and to become doers of truth. That’s what we must do everyday! And we must have determination to be more proficient.
Before we close our eyes at night, remember/read one verse that speaks strongly throughout the day. When we wake up in the morning, direct our minds to meditate on that verse; pray over it until we get impressions, and learn more about it.
Read all verses that are related to the impression we receive until we understand; then declare and write it down. When we continue doing it, our love for the word will be added by the Holy Spirit and that love will affect our daily lives.
In our busy schedule (work), we can still meditate on the word in mind, and every hour we will read the word and declare it. Our hearts and minds will focus on the things from the Spirit, so we live in the Spirit. That is what make our lives unshakeable!
This morning the Holy Spirit reminded me the basic thing on how to overcome negative emotions and always live in joy. Again, the answer is to think the things from the Spirit.
How can our minds be negative? Because we are not in our TRUE HABITAT. If we are in our  TRUE HABITAT (live in the Spirit, and in the reality of His presence) then we can have peace and eternal joy every day.
I believe, the struggle to live in eternal joy has ended. It is not right if we keep struggling to live in eternal joy. We just have to enter into and stay in our true habitat.
In our true habitat there is truth, peace and joy. As the son of God, we can just enjoy it! That is our portion!
