Although the retreat is over, a deep impression still lingers about what God has done in the participants’ life. I could still feel God’s gripping reality within my heart. And that’s when Holy Spirit revealed this verse to me:

Philippians 1:6 (NASB) For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

From the verse, Holy Spirit urged me to make several commitments as follow:

1. I will keep praying for the participants; through the work of the word and Spirit, let what have been born in their heart keep rooting stronger and manifest more and more tangibly in their everyday life

The greatest challenge for churches is the lack of accurate people who could partner with God in their daily life. Truly, all the work of the word and Spirit that flows through God’s servants are aimed to give birth to believers who could partner with God on earth (Ps 110:3). These are the believers who are willing and daring to submit their future to realize God’s plan in their life. They are willing to die, to believe God even when it doesn’t make sense, and willing to let go of everything to reach and reveal God’s reality and kingdom through their daily life.

Now, God is starting to find a group of believers who are all-out for Him and His plans. Surely, God won’t let them be ‘influenced and robbed back’ by this world. I pray, let God’s divine influence keep transforming them, gripping their heart until His godliness becomes real in their everyday life!

2. I will pray for God’s grace to always be poured out for everyone who come to the retreat, so they could always make accurate decisions and do what’s right

Thus far, too many believers (including leaders) who assume that listening once to a sermon automatically makes them a ‘doer of the word’. Truly, it’s not enough. The word principles must be built and internalized into our daily lives. The word must influence our perspective, convictions, and decision-making!

Too many people receive God’s word without having their lives transformed by the word! Without knowing, the spirit of deception is working in their lives.

I believe that Holy Spirit will follow up what He emphasized in my heart. He will keep working in the participants’ life. He will guide them to always make accurate decisions – doing what’s right in every situation and condition they face. Whatever they have to face and go through will become a ‘fertilizer’ for the kingdom seed to grow and finally bear kingdom fruits more and more.

The sparks of Holy Spirit’s fire in the participants’ life will quickly turn into a fire of revival which will sweep across Indonesia. #iLoveGod
