Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV) For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Without realizing it, we often forget the essence of our existence as spiritual men. So that we live our lives outwardly and even become the “plaything” of the devil. The war is in the spirit thus we don’t understand it. As a result, we always fall victim to enemy attacks.
This morning the Holy Spirit firmly said; if our daily lives following God are actually heavy laden, tiring, wrapped in negative emotions, and filled with various bad thoughts, that is actually not normal!! It is the enemy’s attack targeting our spiritual man and aiming to steal, kill, and destroy. So, it doesn’t come from ourselves. Realize, that’s the enemy’s attack!
It is true, that our God is a faithful God, and His designs are far stronger than those of the enemy’s. But that doesn’t mean we can be passive and give up “waiting” for God’s help. He wants us to know who we are in Him and live by His Word every day. So, no matter what challenges we are facing, joy and peace must still be our portion!! That’s a normal life for us to experience every day. So, if we find our spirits attacked with various bad thoughts and negative emotions, it is exposing our existence which is not being illuminated by the light of the Word. To defeat the enemy’s attack is very easy, just present the Word, and the enemy will leave. Darkness will definitely be removed when the light comes!
God does not want us to be anxious, stressed, let alone losing hope in doing God’s will, no! That is clearly not God’s will. He wants us to always be joyful and grateful! Walking with God should make us very happy people!
I feel that the Spirit wants to distinguish between the lives of those who walk to complete God’s will and those who live for themselves. The differences will be even more sharp. Instead, they will be tired, weary, and exhausted. On the other hand, we become more energetic, enthusiastic and optimistic. We will never lose our joy anymore because His presence or Word as a source of joy is always present and surrounds us.
I make the decision not to be “absent” from His presence and His Word. I will make sure that I am filled with His Word and reality, so that the days of my life are distinguished from other people!! I am a peacemaker in the midst of this dark world!! #ILoveGod
