When I read The Words in the book of Genesis carefully, it turns out there are many verses that I had read but missed (I didn’t understand the message). But now Holy Spirit explains something new which made me more thirsty for His word. I realize, there are many things that Holy Spirit wants to reveal about God is through the Scriptures. My portion is to keep my heart thirsty and hungry for the Truth and to persevere in digging into the truth of God’s word.

Once again Holy Spirit says: Continue to be deeper-rooted. Ensure your spiritual roots (the foundation of life) growing bigger and stronger. Never stop meditating, digging and declaring the word. Make sure to keep working on it wherever your spiritual level is. Because this will make you truly “satisfied”. Therefore you do not need to look for satisfaction other than God (cannot be tempted by other things such as money, worldliness, rank, position, etc.) Your life would be safe and will continue to rise and never go down.

Psalm 11: 3 (NKJV) If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?

Luke 6: 46-49 (NASB) “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.”

Memorize and keep doing those verses! It will make you unshakeable in all aspects! Because the time when everything will be shaken is coming. It is inevitable, it will definitely come. His words solely will make us unshakeable, hence never put our lives on “other foundations” than His word.

Joshua 1: 7-8 (NASB) 7 Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. 8 This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.

God intently wants to make sure that Joshua does not build his life on another foundation other than His word! That is to say, if he does, then Joshua will never experience victory with God. Because God moves “beyond human logic”.

Just see how the warfare of the nations in Canaan went on. Israel was no longer at war, it was not human strength that won the war. Is there any military science that describes the way to break walls down by circling around it and raise a great shout? Never have I heard! Matchless God did it. And no other nation can do the same.

If Joshua had turned to the right or to the left (fill up his life with “other things”), then he would have difficulty followed the voice of God. But he had chosen an accurate lifestyle (meditating and speaking the word). So there is no “struggle” between God and Joshua. Joshua strongly believed Him without any argument despite God’s “illogical” instructions. He immediately and joyfully did it. And the results were amazing. The intervention and sovereignty of God’s miracle followed Joshua!

I want to be like Joshua! Building my life that is deep-rooted in His word. So by faith, I will certainly overcome the world! And experiencing God’s awesomeness once again!!  #ILoveGod
