When I woke up this morning, I immediately felt that there was an unusual thirsty spirit for His word. This is very swift and strong. The urge to read the word of God is very unstoppable. And the Holy Spirit taught me to read it more slowly in order to get the understanding and the Spirit dimension that is contained in the word. Then immediately to record every understanding that God gave.
The Holy Spirit said: Keep doing it in the silence of God’s throne. Use the time to focus on that thing. Read the word of God in more detail. And do it faithfully.
Suddenly I realize, God’s guidance often comes and leads us to go against the flow of the lifestyle and self-habits and even the routines that we normally live. But if we obey, we will get the perfect formation of His hands.
I understand now, indeed there is no progress without sacrifice. If we keep embracing the ‘other’ life outside of what God commands, then we will lose what God wants to give. But if we dare to let go of the others, we will get what God designs! And what God has designed is always more noble than ours and the world’s.
This life choice is in our hands. Don’t take it wrong, if you don’t want to go to wrong ways. Look at His Kingdom and His eternal plan, it is not comparable to the design of ours or the plan that the world has to offer.
When I start to obey that thing above, then I can experience a new passion in reading the word of God. Like someone who is reading for the first time the verses of the word. It is so valuable and full of excitement. I keep looking for the time to read the word of God. Whenever and wherever, my heart cannot be separated from His word!
Ezekiel 3:1-3 (NKJV) Moreover He said to me, “Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.” So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that scroll. And He said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you.” So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness.
I believe, every guidance that God gives, if we obey, we are in the center of His perfect will and formation. We will be lifted by God to be an instrument in God’s mighty hands to fulfill His will on this earth.
Deuteronomy 28:1 (NKJV) “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
