1 Samuel 3:19-21 (ERV) The Lord was with Samuel while he grew up. He did not let any of Samuel’s messages prove false. Then all Israel, from Dan to Beersheba, knew that Samuel was a true prophet of the Lord. And the Lord continued to appear to Samuel at Shiloh. There he told Samuel what he wanted.
As I read that verses, I’m so convinced by the POWER OF THE REALITY OF GOD’S INCLUSION and His word. That’s what makes us live as people who keep growing and revealing our true identity in Christ. There are stature, divine authority and government power. That’s the key of increase to like Christ, not others.
If we can keep ensuring that everyday the presence of God grips our hearts and the word that becomes our meditation, then we will surely reach the highest potential that God has set.
Therefore, the reality of God and His word has to be our focus.
1. Keep guarding the heart that hungry and thirsty of truth more than anything
Matthew 5:6 (NKJV) Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
Remember, only that can satisfy our hearts, not others. So, don’t chase other things. Focus on growing the heart that thirst and hunger of the truth. If we are satisfied, we will automatically reject what the world offers. We will rise up to be a generation whose heart is pure for they shall see God and become like Him (Matthew 5:6, 1 John 3:2-3).
2. Keep guarding the inclination of our hearts to know HIM ACCURATELY
Jeremiah 9:24 (NKJV) But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord.
John 17:3 (NKJV) And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
Philippians 3:10 (TLB) Now I have given up everything else—I have found it to be the only way to really know Christ and to experience the mighty power that brought him back to life again, and to find out what it means to suffer and to die with him.
The inclination of our hearts that focused on Him will take us to experience the perfect in Christ over the earth.
3. Our thirst of the truth and the inclination of our hearts to the truth has to be drawn to reach the same dimension and level like Samuel and Paul were at
That’s what I pray, for so long we have acknowledge ourselves as the ones who are hungry and thirsty of the truth and keep pursuing the knowledge of God. But the question is, have we been in the depth of dimension and level that Samuel and Paul mean? If we already the same like them, we will automatically be risen by God to be like them! For sure!
I ask Holy Spirit to bring me into the dimension where Samuel and Paul were! No shortcut, but I must be constantly drawn to be there. Therefore we can see the same God and to be like Him! #ILoveGod
