To actually enjoy a life ruled by divine peace, requires us to have a breakthrough or cleansing in the memory area (subconscious mind) first.
For though we have received the word, which makes a declaration and acts as if we have enjoyed God’s answer, however, if our subconscious has not experienced changes and has not aligned by the word, it cannot be denied we will always find that is something still not right deep in our subconscious.
The subconscious that has not been in tune with the word will function like a prison that keeps that person from growing to the peak of his potential in God.
…in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they will not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
(2 Corinthians 4:4 NASB2020)
The word “minds” in the above verse, is written in Greek: Noema – a mental perception, thought, taken from the root word: nous – can be translated as thought, a source of a point of view, understanding, and various aspects of judgment, feelings and other things related to one’s intellectuality.
casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
(II Corinthians 10:5 NKJV)
The word “exalts itself” in the above verse, is written in Greek: epairo – which can be interpreted as rising to a high altitude, is often associated with the aspect of pride, or self-exaltation.
Both the “mind” and “exalts itself” that Paul wrote down above refer to one’s subconscious.
The subconscious mind is a part of one’s mind which actively and continuously works to regulate the functions of several vital organs, regulate behavior, personality, reflexes, and even determine one’s life journey by continuously ’emitting a certain spiritual frequency’ to the spirit realm.
This is one of the most compelling reasons why even though many people have known (consciously) the path to success, yet only a handful can finally enjoy success (their subconscious has changed).
1. Our subconscious keeps recording every event that occurs – especially those with certain similarities and believes it to be a ‘currently happening’ event.
2. Our subconscious continues to generate the same response to anticipate certain events.
For example, we ‘are’ those who are afraid of lizards, we never know why we are afraid of lizards. Our fears are “inherited” by our parents and because it is stored in the subconscious, it keeps manifesting throughout our lives. For some people, when a lizard appears, there is a lot of fear that arises, whether their hands become sweaty, stay away from the lizard, scream out, and so on.
3. Our subconscious can be influenced and changed so that immediately we become different individuals.
Use the principles of the word as a standard of changes in our subconscious. Use our mouths to continue to speak the words or principles that we believe in and imagine that they are fulfilled in our daily lives.
By imagining and speaking the words, we are accessing our subconscious and align it according to the words we receive from God. Do it perseveringly because persistence will never betray the results.
