This morning, Holy Spirit reminded me to always speak the word as MY IDENTITY in Him!
1. I am the tabernacle of God!
From my heart springs the flow of living water! Not just as deep as the heels, but the flow must become a large river! This is my identity in God!
When I speak that identity of mine over and over, instantly, the living water in my heart overflows heavily!
Here, I learn the importance of seeing the word as our identity in God. It becomes difficult for the enemy to drag us again by shifting our focus to weaknesses, external things, and everything humanistic.
When we can see our true identity in the word, our eyes can stay fixed on the truth! The enemy couldn’t hold us back or clog the living water inside us. Our hearts will keep overflowing heavily with living water!
2. I am someone who is already dead from sin and lives for God alone.
Actually, the various inaccurate things in life are no longer mine. They ‘don’t fit me’ anymore. Because I’m already dead! I could no longer ‘enjoy’ an inaccurate life. I also couldn’t feel this world’s ‘glamor’, nor ‘can’ I be tempted to sin again. For a dead man could no longer respond towards anything that comes from sin, Devil and death!
The nemesis of inaccuracy is building an accurate life. So, that’s my identity! I am someone who is built to be accurate in all aspects through the work of the Word and Spirit. My focus is only to become a doer of God’s word who lives for Him alone!
3. I’m a person who loves God with all my heart, soul and strength.
My heart is continuously purified when declaring this identity. It makes me realize that whatever I do must be done out of my love of God alone. There must be no other motivation. A heart that loves Him must become the CORE of my MOTIVATION, MINDSET, and HEART ATTITUDE – this is final!
To love God is me as a person! It is me! I will do anything because He has given His love to me!
When I pray in the morning, it is not because I want to “flow the living water,” no! But because I truly love God! Not because I “want to enjoy the peace and reality of God,” no! But because I love him! My motivation is only one: because I love the Lord!
I truly feel that God is focusing on this aspect of my life. Because a heart that loves the Lord is the best heart quality. It will enable me to live favorably before God, and to produce impact more and more! I must guard it with all my heart, soul, and strength!
Deuteronomy 6:5 (NASB) You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
Proverbs 4:23 (NASB) Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.
The level of our love towards God must keep on increasing. Such a heart will give birth to a life that is accurate, impactful, and pleasing before the Lord! Whatever we do will be based on a heart that loves Him!#iLoveGod
