Genesis 26:15 (NKJV) Now the Philistines had stopped up all the wells which his father’s servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father, and they had filled them with earth.
A clean, clear and healthy water is the need of all living things – outwardly and spiritually. God provides His Word and Spirit as a source of clean, clear and healthy water to fulfill all the needs of His chosen people. It becomes problematic when the water of life ‘flows through dirty or impure vessels’. That is why, God wants His servants to keep sanctifying themselves and their daily lives so that their lives become His representations – to become vessels that are used for good things!
2 Timothy 2:19-21 (NKJV) Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
In all kinds of ways, the enemy keeps trying to make the sources of clean, clear and healthy water in the Body of Christ to be ‘closed or polluted’. The same way will happen in the lives of every believer. All forms of living water that should irrigate the lives of believers continue to be ‘polluted’ and try to be ‘covered’ by the Evil. The purpose is to ensure there is no more life among His chosen people!
1. The enemy will keep ‘reviving’ the self and flesh in the lives of the people or servants of God.
In fact, there is the simplest way that God provides to ensure that the self and the life of flesh will never appear in our lives: Learn to hear and follow the guidance of our conscience. The Father has cleansed our conscience with the power of Jesus’ blood so that our conscience will keep bringing us to walk in His righteousness.
Hebrews 9:14 (NKJV) how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
The voice of conscience will keep conditioning ourselves to live in truth; as long as we live in truth, we will continue to experience the joy and peace that come from the Holy Spirit, and it will continue to stir in our hearts. These divine joy and peace will become the flow of the divine life that revives His chosen people!
2. Every direction and voice of God must be intended to build the life of Christ in our lives.
We have to make sure the life of Christ continues to grow in our lives, because this is the only way to ensure the rivers of living water in our lives can continue to flow or burst so that our lives continue to have an impact on His glory – replacing all that is natural or flesh with His divinity!
2 Peter 1: 3-4 (NKJV) as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
As believers, if we continue to live outwardly or humanely, this will only bring the rivers of living water in our lives return to be controlled by the enemy – to be polluted or completely covered/buried with the ground (as a symbol of flesh or physical things. As believers who are projected by the Father to be His representation on this earth). It is normal for us to keep manifesting the divine nature, a godly life in our daily lives! All forms of thoughts, motivations and intentions of the heart must continue to be aligned with His Word!
Proverbs 20:27 (NKJV) The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord,Searching all the inner depths of his heart.
Let the whole of our lives keep being carried by His Word and Spirit to please His heart more. In our lives there is a river of living water that is clear, clean and healthy; and through our daily interactions, there are many people who can enjoy the flow of clean, clear and healthy of the living water. #ILoveGod
