Every time the voice or guidance of God comes into our lives, it is often intended to:

(1) To correct the inaccurate heart attitudes, mindset and lifestyle that we still have,

(2) To give us ‘raw material’ to build a solid foundation of belief in His existence so that we can live our daily lives in the power of faith (which moves mountains) and become conquerors! (1 John 5: 4)

1. Make sure the inclination of the heart that we have always wants to please His heart.

I observed the lives of several groups of people. And I found that in the group of people who keep showing the fruits of life, they still love this world, love self or love money. The kind of ‘voice of God’ that often comes into their lives usually only revolves around ‘the ordinary things’ and ‘merely normative as Christians’. It is rarely to bring them into a godly or divine life.

In contrast to those who are basically loving God and having a desire to live righteously and to please God. There are many directions, guidances, demands or reprimands that come in their lives, fixing various aspects of the heart attitude, mindset or lifestyle that they have. From there I come to a conclusion, often the inclination of  heart or of the heart attitude which is associated with the word that we have, will be a kind of ‘filter’ for the word that comes in our lives.

I encourage all of us to reevaluate the inclination of our heart. If during this time we find the direction or voice of God that comes in our lives tending to be ‘ordinary and merely normative’, we must pray immediately and ask for the Father to give us a heart that truly loves Him and His truth. Having an inclination of heart that only toward to His truth is a form of grace that the Father gives to His chosen people (Ezekiel 36: 24-26, Romans 9: 16-18). And when we find that we don’t have it in our lives, immediately ask to the Father! Whoever doesn’t have it and start to ask for it to the Father, he will get it, too! (Matt 7: 7-8, Luke 11: 9-13).

Always remember, He is not a Father who is partial or discriminative in giving grace to His people. But He desires that indeed from the life of His people there is a heart who loves Him wholeheartedly.

2. Keep asking to the Father to pour out the work of the Word and the Spirit for the growth of the life of Christ in our hearts.

The presence of the Christ’s Spirit in our hearts is the hope of glory (Romans 8: 9, Col. 1: 27-29). But as long as the existence of Christ only exists ‘in us’, it does not grow to manifest Himself through our being, the hope for the manifestation of glory will only remain as a mere hope, not a reality yet!

When the Spirit brings God’s voice into our lives, He will keep correcting various kinds of heart attitudes, mindsets and inaccurate lifestyles that we still have in our daily lives; and at the same time, He will also lead us to be co-worker with His word to build a strong conviction in Him!

By keeping experience an overhaul of the heart attitude, mindset and daily lifestyle – becoming more accurate with His word, and at the same time, our foundation in Him and His Word become more stronger, then there is no more natural or spiritual aspects in our lives that will hinder the life of Christ to be manifested! The power of faith that moves the mountain will simply begin to be manifested! All natural elements will begin to respond and obey the prayers, declarations and prophecies that come out of our mouths! It is time for the glory of heaven begins to be manifested in and through our daily lives as children of God!

1 Corinthians 15:53-54 (NKJV) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

Romans 8:19 (NKJV) For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

Begin to set our spiritual ears to Him and obey every direction from Him. Live as a child of God in our daily lives! #ILoveGod
