Jeremiah 1: 9-10 (NKJV) “Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.”
The verses speak strongly in my mind. The power of God’s word or His voice is divinely powerful when given to a person. That is what Jeremiah experienced. The fate of nations and kingdoms are determined by his words. That is the real capacity of the true Word that able to uproot, to tear down, to destroy, to pull down and to build kingdoms and nations.
The problem is we still take and use God’s word merely for our own lives – to be successful, blessed, healed, and to be strong. The Word indeed works for that matters, but it’s actually more than that and no more about ourselves.
Whereas the Word states about the greatness and awesomeness of God. By the Word, He created the heaven, the earth, and everything that is in them. So the Word of God aims to reveal His will on earth, not for our purposes and desires.
Increasingly, I believe God is able to restore everything on earth just by speaking. But He needs men to represent Him, men who always connected with His word and sovereignty.
1. It takes men who have died from their own interests: died from their own ambitions, desires, and needs. So that whatever God says never clash with their own will.
2. It takes men who consistently receive the Word of the mouth of God (with the fervent spirit or springing up the life that is connected with the throne of God) and perseveringly meditating and speaking the Word!
Galatians 2:20 (NKJV) “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
1 John 5: 4 (NKJV) “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
I feel in the spirit, the time of God to lift us up in His sovereignty has come, the time for us to overcome the world has come. The world is in the grip of His word and His word is in our mouths. #ILoveGod
