Luke 17:7-10 (ESV) “Will any one of you who has a servant plowing or keeping sheep say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline at table’? Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare supper for me, and dress properly, and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’? Does he thank the servant because he did what was commanded? So you also, when you have done all that you were commanded, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.”

The Holy Spirit indoctrinates me with the chapter above. I am a slave or servant of the truth that I must not forget or ignore. If not, then I will actually live ‘demanding’ God. Yet as servant or slave, the word of ‘thank you’ is not deserve for us to be received, because what we do is already our duty and responsibility as servants of truth! We are not only servants of truth, but also servants of leaders who are above us. Because it is impossible for us to obey the invisible God, if we can not obey to the visible (our leader).

I am sure, the word of God above will continue to condition us to live in the death of the flesh – so we can be ‘self-aware’. If we are called to be ‘God’s servants’, then it is normal we live our lives as servants. The life style of a slave is to listen and obey whenever and wherever, he does not even have the ambition to be anything because the desire of his heart is only one that is listening to either God or his leaders speak and do it.

I realize, that is the ‘simplicity’ of life that we should have – our lives are not ‘complicated’. Only to become a servant of truth and servant of the leader that God has placed above us. That is the identity that I must keep planted (declaring) in my mind!

All this time we always declare ourselves as an influential, renowned and respected people. But the pathway is not the way of this world, full of ambition and arrogance, however the path of the cross and the death of the flesh. There is no resurrection without death and no impact without being a SERVANT! That is the path of truth that we must go through – being servant!

Philippians 2:5-11 (NKJV) Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,  who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but [made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,  that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

That is our identity in God, as a SERVANT which is to live without ambition and to live only to hear His word and OBEY! Then God will lift us up to rule and reign with Him! As we live only from the word that proceeds from the mouth of God, so then God will use us. #ILoveGod
