Matthew 16: 17-19 (NET) “And Jesus answered him, “You are blessed, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven! And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.”
The manifestation of the statement about the Church and the Key to the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus declared was based on the statement which Peter received from the Father. In other words, the stature and the dimension of authority that the Church of God carries are influenced by the dimension of the revelation from the Spirit received by believers or leaders! Until now, the existence or stature and the dimension of authority carried by the Church of God are still far from what God designed!
Revelation 12: 1-2 (NET) “Then a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and with the moon under her feet, and on her head was a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and was screaming in labor pains, struggling to give birth.”
The prophecy of the latter-day Church emphasizes that the Church of God is supposed to live in the atmosphere of the Father’s divinity and glory. The “Woman” is the depiction of the bride of Christ (Church of God). “Clothed by the sun”, the sun means the glory and divinity of the Father. If we Compare this prophecy to the current situation of the Church of God: very humanly, fleshly and even carnal!
The woman is depicted standing on the moon – the image of the Church of God built on the perfection of the sacrifice of Christ. The moon is an image of the existence of Christ which only ‘reflects’ the light from the Sun or the glory and divinity of the Father. Compare this with most of the teachings circulating among believers. It is not Christ that becomes the emphasis of the focus or teaching; but various human ideas about success, achievement in life as well as ministry.
The woman wears a crown of twelve stars – an image of the Church of God that always has a stature to rule and triumph in everything! Compare this to the believers nowadays: Most live under pressure, troubled, and shackled by various world systems!
I believe this is because the Church of God has not experienced the dynamic work of the word and the Spirit as the Church should experience within Him! #ILoveGod
