This message is a continuation of yesterday’s message.

We are discussing the Holy Spirit who raised Jesus during His childhood, will also raise us in His presence.

– The Holy Spirit will bring us to grow in wisdom.

– The Holy Spirit will take and grow us in Stature – reach a certain level that makes us ‘suitable’ to do something – start to have a particular reputation in life (in ministry terms, often referred to as ‘anointed people’).

I believe, while we keep pushing into His presence, the Holy Spirit will not be still!

Hebrews 11: 6 (NASB) “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.”

Sometimes in our efforts to pursue God’s reality, we feel so many distractions we have to face. Not to mention the various obstacles and grudges that we still have to conquer while we pray or worship. We must destroy in our minds the ‘awareness of the surroundings’, and replace it with ‘awareness of God and His word’.

Despite that we need to overcome many things in our minds or emotions to feel His gentle presence, we should continue to do it perseveringly. Our struggle in pursuing God’s reality is never in vain. Even, the Holy Spirit uses it to ‘grow’ the divine mentality within us.

Paul asserted that we must adopt the mentality of a soldier, athlete and a farmer so that the focus of our lives is always only to please God and do everything earnestly in order to achieve the goals or destiny that God has set in our lives!

All of these attitudes and mentality will condition us to be a person who is ‘fit’ to do a designated ‘kingdom task’, that only our self is suitable to do it – no one else will be able to replace us. Each of us will experience how the Holy Spirit leads us to grow in stature in a particular area of our lives.

Remember the life of David, who would have thought his expertise in using the sling – something normal in his work as a shepherd – was the key to his victory in defeating Goliath?  (1 Samuel 17: 40-51).

The key is to keep listening to the guidance of His Spirit. Continue to live in submission to the Father and the fulfillment of His plans. Never underestimate every direction or moves that He gives. Don’t get caught up in evaluating the direction or moves of the Spirit in our lives by using our limited perspective.

If all this time the Spirit makes us enjoy the activities of organizing or managing something, do it perseveringly. Who would have thought that David’s perseverance and diligence in shepherding only two or three sheep entrusted to him (1 Samuel 17:28) rewarded by God with trust to shepherd His people Israel?

Therefore, keep growing the mentality that is in harmony with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He brings us to go through everything we have experienced with a reason. It is actually a training that the Holy Spirit does in order to grow stature in our lives – conditioning us to be suited to carry out a kingdom assignment in the future.

Just prepare your life! In an unexpected way, God Himself will set us up to get into the national scene and conquer the ‘Goliath’ which has been intimidating nations.  #ILoveGod

This message will continue tomorrow.
