I found that oftentimes the voice of God that comes in our lives ‘ceased’ at the discussion stage or merely becomes information in our minds. It is not built into a ‘life of faith’ that influences or changes our daily lives. Every Word that comes into our lives must be responded in such a way so as to be built into a measure of faith that affects our daily lives!
For example, when God’s promises come into our lives through the Scripture:
Jeremiah 29:11 (NET) “For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.”
We must use God’s promises in that verse to build a measure of faith in our lives! Speak the Word, imagine that the fulfillment of that promise has been fulfilled in our lives, pray fervently in tongues, and declare the impression the Holy Spirit gives until our hearts blazed!
When the spiritual dynamics and intensity in our hearts built up ceaselessly, we should receive direction or instruction from the Holy Spirit – and we have to obey them!
1 John 2:27 (NKJV) “But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.”
James 1: 22-25 (NET) “But be sure you live out the message and do not merely listen to it and so deceive yourselves. For if someone merely listens to the message and does not live it out, he is like someone who gazes at his own face in a mirror. For he gazes at himself and then goes out and immediately forgets what sort of person he was. But the one who peers into the perfect law of liberty and fixes his attention there, and does not become a forgetful listener but one who lives it out – he will be blessed in what he does.”
James 2:17, 26 (NASB)
“Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.”
This is the time for us to make the voice of God that comes into our lives become ‘material or raw material’ to build the foundation of faith or measure of faith in our lives! Not just a mere mental discourse or information but it should influence decision making in our daily lives! One who lives in the measure of faith will always manifest what he believes in the interactions and daily activities!
When God’s voice in Jeremiah 29:11 is built into a measure of faith, it becomes even more unnatural for someone to worry about his life! Keep building a measure of faith and live it every day!
Stay believe regardless of bad events that are happening around, the Father still designs a plan that is full of peace and a bright and hopeful future. Then gratefulness will always flow out of our mouths. #ILoveGod
