Amid this darkening world, it’s as if the power of death has successfully gnawed on all joints of life. Relationships between husbands and wives grow cold; relationships between pastors and their people are filled with misunderstanding and suspicion. It’s as if there is no such thing as a covenant. Even family members exploit one another. All of them shows the lack of ‘life’ in this earth.

John 10:10 (NASB) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I CAME THAT THEY MAY HAVE LIFE, AND HAVE IT ABUNDANTLY.

1. Without the ‘life of God’, whatever we do will fail, the relationships we build will break, and whatever situation we face will become stressful and disheartening

If we ask the Holy Spirit to open our spiritual eyes, He will show us the whole world as they are. Relationships, activities, situations, people, and many more aspects of life have been blanketed by the power of death since the fall of man in Eden. That’s why all human efforts will end in vain.

The power of death that was brought by sin could only be subdued – even reversed 180 degrees – by the power of Christ’s resurrection. That’s why, wherever on earth where there are no believers who carry the power of Christ’s resurrection, the place won’t have any sign of life, growth or progress. For years, everything – the people’s routine, social situation, infrastructure, etc – stays the same. There is no progress or change whatsoever because everything is blanketed by the power of death.

Spiritually, that’s how it is; the situation and condition of a region is majorly influenced by the existence of its inhabitants. Without them experiencing God’s touch – transformed to become carriers of His ressurection power – the region will never experience any real progress or growth.

Psalms 85:9 (NASB) Surely His salvation is NEAR TO THOSE WHO FEAR HIM, that glory may dwell in our land.

2. As believers, the Father has entrusted us with the power of Christ’s resurrection

Romans 6:5 (NASB) For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection

Paul emphasized that in the Spirit, believers who keep learning to live in self-denial will continuously experience the working power of Christ’s resurrection in their daily life. We won’t only be resurrected in Him, but His resurrection power will also flow through our lives.

Therefore, whenever we face the ‘power of death’, we will have enough power and authority to destroy it, and exchange it with the power of life that comes from His Spirit. That’s when the drastic and dramatic transformation of life happens; when we are present as believers who are bringing the power of Christ’s resurrection in our lives.

a. Release and declare the ‘life of God’ to exchange the working power of death

Proverbs 18:21 (NASB) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Whenever we meet somebody, consciously release blessing over them. Speak the life of God to descend and work in their daily life. In this manner, we are sowing the seeds of God’s life, which one day will surely grow and condition the person to transform drastically and dramatically.

Never underestimate every word that proceeds from our mouth. From the same mouth, we could release words of life by the Spirit, and from the same mouth, we could release curses and death over others.

b. When present, God’s life will quickly transform a person, situation, and relationship

I believe it is time for us to persevere in declaring and bringing the life of God over people and relationships – they will surely transform and grow towards the positive.

Remember, whatever negative things we face, all of them are nothing else but the varying work of sin and death’s power. They could only be overcome through the manifested power of Christ’s ressurection.

So, keep declaring His word! Keep releasing the life of God until death is swallowed up in victory (1 Cor 15:54-57)! #iLoveGod
