Psalms 92:12-15 (NASB) The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green, TO DECLARE THAT THE LORD IS UPRIGHT; HE IS MY ROCK, AND THERE IS NO UNRIGHTEOUSS IN HIM.
So far, I find that many people keep chasing after a life that is successful, ‘blessed’ and glamorous, yet inaccurate. Meanwhile, God will release all the blessing and grace we need – both spiritual and physical – when we live accurately.
1. Accurate life is always built upon our obedience to every instruction of the Spirit and our molding process by the word
If we continue to live our daily life like the way we lived before we were saved – having the same habits and life pattern – it means that we haven’t been transformed. Probably going to church on Sundays is all the difference! Our convictions stay the same, our habits don’t change, and so does our routines and pattern of living from day to day.
If that’s the case, it means that we haven’t built an accurate life! No wonder we still face the same problems, stress, struggles and even illnesses that most people face.
What we should do quickly after our repentance is to ‘baptize ourselves’ with the various healthy teachings that God is releasing through leaders and spiritual fathers. Then, we must quickly position ourselves as doers of the word we have listened to.
We must not stop at educating ourselves with various teachings until we could teach those teachings! Instead, we must immerse ourselves in the word teaching and position ourselves as its doers! Do it to such an extent that we birth the kingdom message in our life that He is still a faithful God!
So far, I’ve found so many people who function themselves as carriers of God’s message. However, only a handful of them are living as God’s message itself.
Only those who have gone through the molding process of the word and Spirit could have enough authority to speak to the multitudes: “See my life, follow my example.” Only those who live accurately could see their lives transforming into a message!
2. Daily life that has become a message could only be earned by those who want to become doers of the word
Every believer who have become a doer of the word will experience how the word reveals certain truths in their life. The influence of the word is so strong that worldly and demonic influences will cease completely from certain aspects in their lives. These are the people whom God will use to influence and transform their generation. At times, the life influence they carry is so strong, they could influence the lives of those who lives in a different generation. For example, God used Paul to build His church in Ephesus to be the hotspost of God’s movement in Asia. Through Paul’s life accuracy, he didn’t stop at influencing and transforming believers in his time, but until today, what Paul did still inspired servants of God worldwide to build God’s people as His holy temple on earth.
Maybe many of us are speaking in our heart, “Don’t compare myself to Paul. How very far am I!”
Although our life and Paul’s seems so far, but truly, all of us started our spiritual journey from the same point; receiving the grace of salvation!
Paul kept growing in grace; he even admitted that he could only become so influential for so many people because of God’s grace (1 Cor 15:10). Paul could reach such a point because he kept working the grace he has received with all his heart (Phil 2:12).
You could also set your daily life to become a message for many people! Start by working out the salvation you have received with fear and trembling; don’t stop at becoming a listener/enjoyer of the word. Become a doer of His word! Position your daily life to become a message for your generation. Reveal that God is still a good Father, a faithful God, and a sovereign King! #iLoveGod
