This message is a continuation of yesterday’s message.

We are discussing the specific preparations we must do to function as partners with God in the forthcoming outpouring of the Spirit:

1. Do ‘mental adjustment’.

2. Make changes to your life according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Father does want to accept us as we are, but when we are in His hands, He wants to mold and reshape our lives according to His will. So far, our lives have been molded by the manifestation of the enemy’s work (evil days and difficult times) so that we tend to become human and worldly persons. The mold of the world will condition our lives to be more full of hatred, inner conflict, selfishness, love of money, love of the world, no longer loving others and so on.

For example, when we are offended by others, the principle of the Word will command us to forgive and not keep any hurt or something towards others, even if it is our enemies who often do wrong to us. Meanwhile, the world will mold our personalities into people who will repay other people’s mistakes and find it difficult to forgive (like to keep obstacles or full of inner conflicts). As a result, when the person has reached a certain position that is quite influential, has the resources and knowledge of technology, then everything he has tends to be used to vent his dislike for certain people or groups. Which actually results in various negative impacts that can harm many people, just because they want to fulfill their human and worldly greed and desires.

Matthew 5:48 (NKJV) Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

God wants us to be perfect in love. He wants us to have an attitude of heart that is easy to forgive and forget people’s mistakes. This is one of the divine formations that God will do in our lives according to His will.

Begin by asking yourself for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in answering the following question: “What is the right thing for me to do at this time?”. Because doing the right thing is a manifestation of the work of the true spirit of repentance, which will lead us to live again to the ways of truth and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

As the following statement confirms:

Ephesians 4:28 (NKJV) Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.

This is the manifestation of the true spirit of repentance at work. Not only become a person who no longer sin or make mistakes, but has a different mentality to start doing things that are right and useful, so that he becomes a person who changes 180 degrees in his life – as Zacchaeus did.

Luke 19:8 (NKJV) Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.”

This was the right thing that Zacchaeus did that led to him being appointed by Jesus as a son of Abraham. This world has indeed been corrupted by people who live in inner conflict, hatred and greed, but this world will also be restored by different people, namely the righteous.

Another example is Mordecai and Esther. There are many among the righteous who are like Esther, have a certain position and power, but are still busy with their own lives. Like Esther’s condition before Mordecai delivered his message.

Esther 4:13-14 (NKJV) And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Today the voice of God has come upon the leaders of God’s church (Mordecai), to send them to convey God’s voice and call to the ‘Esthers’ who are in their care. That there is a certain purpose to work on God’s agenda and will be behind the success, power, influence or various resources they now enjoy. Remind them to play their part in doing God’s will. When Mordecai does the right thing as her portion to convey God’s voice firmly, then Esther did the right thing which became her response.

Esther 4:15-16 (NKJV) Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in [a]Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”

This message will continue tomorrow.
