This message is a continuation of yesterday’s message.
We are discussing the specific preparations we must do to function as partners with the Lord in the forthcoming outpouring of the Spirit:
1. Do ‘mental adjustment’.
2. Make changes to your life according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
3. Focus on building the lifestyle of denying oneself and taking up the cross.
Have an accurate perception of the lifestyle of denying oneself and taking up the cross. Because there are many people who think that kind of lifestyle is unpleasant and full of suffering. In fact, when a person begins to live a lifestyle of self-denial and taking up the cross, he will condition himself to be full of the Spirit that makes the flow of living water flow from within. This flow of living water surely gives abundant joy and peace, so that it makes our lives feel easy and light (Matthew 11:28-30).
Romans 8:5-6 (NKJV) For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Romans 8:6 (ERV) If your thinking is controlled by your sinful self, there is spiritual death. But if your thinking is controlled by the Spirit, there is life and peace.
Philippians 4:8 (TLB) And now, brothers, as I close this letter, let me say this one more thing: Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about.
The manifestation of the lifestyle of self-denial and taking up the cross is that we condition our minds to always think about things of the Spirit, namely all that is true, good and right, things that are pure and lovely, and the various goodness and beauty in others, which makes us always rejoice and praise God.
These are the directions of the Holy Spirit from the dream explanation I received so that we really prepare ourselves to focus on pursuing Him and living for the fulfillment of His plan.
I pray that none of us will be late or miss the moment of the outpouring of the Spirit in these last days. None of us will be left behind to function as partners in God’s work.
Experience the reality of God who always sets free, brings breakthrough and victory! Which will always bring our lives to be distinguished and privileged. Let it be done in the name of Christ Jesus. Amen!!
