Exodus 6:2 (TLB) I am Jehovah, the Almighty God who appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—though I did not reveal my name, Jehovah, to them.

Proverbs 18:10 (NKJV) The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

Everytime God reveals Himself and performs a divine intervention in the lives of His servants/ His chosen people, He always states His name; it can be said that God’s name is like a password or a portal in the spiritual realm that conditions God’s people from different era will be able to experience the same God’s intervention just like ever happened or that was experienced by generation before.

Gideon was longing for the dimension of God’s sovereignty that ever happened to Israel, would happen again in his time (Judges 6:13), David accessed the dimension of God’s mighty power in the battle when he had to face Goliath (1 Sam 17:45-47); even in the New Testament, Bartimaeus received his healing/ miracle because he succeeded in accessing the spiritual dimension in the shouting/ crying out in Jericho (remember, the wall of Jericho was fallen down because of the shouting/ crying out of the Israelites – Joshua 6:20, Mark 10:46-52).

When God’s people received the revelation from the Holy Spirit about God’s name – God’s attribute (the natures/ existence of God), God’s people must to start build their conviction and divine logic on God’s name that is revealed by the Spirit.

I give an example: When Abram won the battle against King Chedorlaomer and his allies, there was the King of Sodom came, welcomed Abram and offered his wealth to him as long as Abram was willing to submit his people went to the battle with him; but Abram refused the offer of the King of Sodom (Genesis 14:17-24).

Refusing an offer/ request of a king is actually a foolishness because it means he is enraging the king, he is positioning himself to be the King’s enemy. Knowing the position that Abram faced, God came to Abram and revealed Himself as the God who protected Abram.

Genesis 15:1 (NKJV) After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield…”

There is a promise that God gave to Abram: I am your shield, I am your protector; if there is someone who wants to do evil to you, they have to deal with Me first!

Logically, who can win against God, the creator of heaven and earth? It means, Abram would kept enjoying high security! Imagine, the one who guarded Abram was God alone! What could the king of Sodom do to his life? If he wanted to harm to Abram, it means he had to deal personally with God first!

We have to build the principle above to be our divine logic and conviction in our everyday lives! When we live in accuracy, we often realize that we actually bring up many people who are hostile to our existence! Because there are many people who so much enjoy the seat of power, they become person who no longer love the truth! He lives in the dark and hates the light of truth!

So when we bring the truth, that person will feel so much annoyed with our existence! Even though he is someone who has the power of mass or depend on the power of money as an attempt to destroy our lives, he will never succeed! The one who guards ourselves is God’s existence alone! With His wings and His presence, He guards us just like a mother hen that looks after her chicks under her wings!

I pray, let our conviction and all our decision, based on the knowledge of God, that presented by the Holy Spirit in our lives! #ILoveGod
