Psalms 11:3 (NKJV) If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?
The enemy will continue to attempt to destroy the foundations of the life of faith we live:
1. The enemy will try to get us captivated by the desires, lifestyles, and beliefs of the wicked.
The enemy will continue to play in the area of the mind, so we will begin to compare our present lives with the lives of the ‘successful’ wicked. Usually the gap that will be used by the enemy to enter into the mind is when our existence is disappointed (experiencing an inner conflict), either towards people, situations, or circumstances. As a result, our spiritual eyes become blurry, so that we cannot be grateful for all His real goodness and providence. We lose the foundation of divine conviction (truth), peace, and joy from His Holy Spirit!
So it is natural for us to take care of the various thoughts that arise. Let us be determined to be doers of the Word in the book of Philippians 4:8! Thus, the enemy can never destroy our lives.
Philippians 4:8 (TLB) And now, brothers, as I close this letter, let me say this one more thing: Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about.
2. The enemy will try to make us ‘familiar’ with God’s command to keep meditating on His Word day and night (Joshua 1 and Psalm 1).
Whereas God’s Word is the beginning of all good, great, and miraculous things that can happen in our lives (Genesis 1 and John 1). So how important it is for us to maintain a lifestyle of reading the Scripture, meditating, imagining, and declaring His Word! Focus on training ourselves to focus solely on His Word. I believe there is no other way to save ourselves from all turmoil, only the Word can.
Hebrews 12:25-29 (NKJV) See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.
3. Realize, we were never set to be victims, because we will not be shaken! This world system will be destroyed because of the VOICE of God that comes out of our mouths!!
Isaiah 66:6-8 (NKJV) The sound of noise from the city! A voice from the temple! The voice of the Lord, who fully repays His enemies! “Before she was in labor, she gave birth; before her pain came, she delivered a male child. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children.
Maintain a lifestyle of reading, meditating, imagining, and declaring His Word, until our spirits are aflame. Because that is what will make us rise up as the temple of His Holy Spirit and will swallow death on this nation!! Amen!! #ILoveGod
