This message is a continuation of yesterday’s message.
We are talking about ‘seeing God’ as an attitude of the heart that every believer should have.
1. Seeing God is an attitude of the heart that every believer should have. “Seeing God”, has the connotation: There is a life that focuses solely on God and His Word, believes in His promises, and hopes only in the manifestation of His sovereign power which is unlimited.
2. When we begin to see God, our lives will never be shaken (2 Kings 6:8-19).
By starting to see God’s reality, God will give us a prophetic spirit so that we can begin to grasp various divine things and specific directions from the Holy Spirit to destroy the various works of the evil one.
The servant of Elisha was afraid because his eyes were more open in seeing the outward facts that explained how the Aramean army with horses and chariots was surrounding them. While Elisha’s response was different, he was so calm and not afraid at all, because he could see God and His reality that was with Elisha, far beyond the threat they were facing. Even with full confidence Elisha prayed to God to open his servant’s spiritual eyes, so that he saw the reality of God in the form of horses and chariots of fire that were more numerous around them.
Let our eyes continue to focus on being able to see God who continues to be with and guard our lives, so that we don’t have to worry or be afraid of anything. God’s hand will lead us back to walk in God’s ways that are full of victory.
More amazingly, Elisha not only believed but he knew how the sovereign power of God was with his life (2 Kings 6:18). Elisa’s ‘knowing’ dimension is higher than ‘believing’. Our true knowledge of God, will make us not only believe in His truth and promises, but we will also become convinced that He is able. To make every state of our hearts and decision-making accurate.
Daniel 11:32 (NKJV) Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
His Word has foretold that there will arise a people who know His God, a people who can see God so that they have a healthy and accurate knowledge of God. The people will stay strong and carry out great exploits in this world!
In the book of Isaiah 6:1-6, it is told how the reality of God, which is full of holiness and glory, came over and opened Isaiah’s eyes to see the reality of God. At the same time, it made Isaiah realize that he was a man with unclean lips and lived in the midst of a people with unclean lips.
We must continue to experience the process of flesh-crushing, live dependent on God alone (not rely on human strength), continue to empty ourselves and adopt the mind of Christ! Thus, the work of the Word and the Spirit will begin to open our spiritual eyes to be able to understand God’s will and live in His calling.
Every believer who sees God will begin to experience the authority of the Kingdom government that applies to their lives. The dimension of Christ who is exalted at the right hand of the Father in heaven will be given to each of us who can see God, so that there is a divine authority that will position our daily lives to always be victorious (Philippians 2:9-11, Ephesians 1:19-22) .
Let it be done in the name of Christ Jesus! Amen!!
