Recently, I kept pushing into God’s presence and meditate on word principles, so I could listen and understand the word that He has prepared for me. Then, I heard Holy Spirit speaking in my heart:

“Just make sure that you fix your mind on the things of the Spirit (God’s word). Then, keep declaring it until your spirit man is stirred ablaze. That’s your ‘dynamo’ which moves yourself to become doers of His word. Truly, without declaring and thinking of the word, we are living a life that’s not after God’s heart. Because we do everything without ‘life’ in it! And when there is no life, only death remains!”

If only death remains, our world will become more and more corrupt. We are supposed to function as a life-giving spirit (1 Cor 15:45). But instead, many of us only flow human nature, worldliness, and even spiritual death. How many Christians are like that? They deem themselves sons of God, but their family is in shambles, their finance ruined, their relationships broken (always holding grudge), and their health lost. All of that shows that the sting of death is still moving freely in our lives. Hasn’t death been destroyed by Jesus Christ? True, death has been subdued by Him, but not by us who are ‘not willing’ to become one with Him!

Now I realize that for so long, we’ve regarded ‘FAITH’ so lightly. It’s true that we only need to BELIEVE in Jesus as our Lord and savior to be united with His death and resurrection. However, BELIEF/FAITH means we have active measures to pursue God to such an extent. Fix our mind on the things of the Spirit (influencing ourselves with the word), and make sure that our spirit is always blazing! That’s the active measure that Paul always does!

Philippians 3:10-11 (NASB) that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

In short, Paul didn’t want to ‘just believe’. He took active measures. He conditioned himself to experience the power of resurrection every day. Paul did it by actively setting his mind; He ponders on the things of the Spirit (Romans 8, Philippians 4:8). Paul also actively associated, touched, and merged himself with the reality of God’s presence until his spirit is ablaze – that’s the way he keeps experiencing life/the power of resurrection

If we live the life that Paul lived, we will grow into our power and authority as sons of God (John 1:12). We will even get the approval of God Himself that we are His sons (2 Cor 6:17-18, Mat 3:17)! Our lives truly become one with Him!

The devil, sin, and death will see Christ in us becoming more and more real. We will crush the same Devil that Christ has put to shame. We will swallow the same death that Jesus has destroyed.

Isn’t death, sin, and Devil the roots of all problems and challenges in this world? So I believe, if we become one with Him, our life will stay far from problems. And for challenges, we’ll become God’s people who are more than winners in facing every challenge! God will lift us up to become the pattern and solution for the nations (Is 2, Is 60, Deut 28:1-14).

Just look at Paul’s life. At one point, the Devil himself must admit, “I know Jesus and I know Paul, but who are you?” (Acts 19:15, TLB). Paul kept growing in his spiritual capacity, authority, and stature, to the point where the Devil compared Jesus and Paul at the same level.

The Devil feels a great trauma and fear when seeing Paul. Because the Devil is haunted by the face of Jesus who now lives in Paul – the same Jesus who has defeated and put the Devil to shame through His death and resurrection!

What Paul experienced is not for Paul alone! That’s the standard we must enter and live in! We must grow just like Paul has grown!

I am very sure about this. We must keep fixing our minds on the things of the Spirit (meditating, memorizing, writing, and speaking the word). We must guard our spirit to stay blazing (by praying in tongues and making declarations) once an hour. If we do so, we will become one with Him!

When we become one with Him, we will experience the manifestation of Christ in us – we truly become a new creation! We won’t only claim that “no longer I who lives, but Christ.” But from the mouth of others, claims will come forth that “no longer you who lives, but Christ who lives in you!”

And the Devil, sin and death also see the same Christ in us – as sons of God, we will subdue them! That’s the way we “live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me”! (Gal 2:20)

By faith, we overcome this world, the Devil, sin, and death! We become more than winners, for we are God’s people! #iLoveGod
