For so long, local churches only have a handful of people who are all-out (willing to die, to believe God even when it doesn’t make sense, and willing to let everything go) for God and His plan. Meanwhile, the other members are only ‘regular churchgoers’ who are busy with their own routine – they don’t care about God’s corporate agenda in the house. Even worse, many leaders think that such thing is ‘normal’! Some are even satisfied and assume that it is the ‘natural church growth’ (believing the teaching that it is normal when only 10% of the congregation functions).

No wonder, leaders are trapped to keep ‘serving’ the people so they always want to come to church. Even the sermons are arranged to such an extent to not ‘demand’ the people to be that all-out for God.

Blessing, success and miracles become the favorite sermon themes. Even some spiritual leaders are willing to surrender their pulpit to motivational speakers and famous preachers. All of them are done to maintain and increase the size of the church!

The early church is different, though. When Peter first preached, his sermon was very hard and heart-wrenching!

Acts 2:37 (NKJV) Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”

Surprisingly, their number increased significantly that day.

Acts 2:41 (NASB) So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls.

What a contrast to our condition today! When the sermon is a little bit hard (demanding death of flesh and surrendering of rights), the people scatter in search for another church.

Here, I find that a church leader carries a certain spiritual frequency that will attract those with the same frequency!

In short, spiritual frequency talks about heart inclination. If a local church leader’s heart is not inclined towards truth, they will surely attract – or even multiply – those who have the same heart. In the end, the congregation is filled with people who doesn’t love the truth, but self, money, and this world! As a result, the local church couldn’t function as part of the body of Christ.

Therefore, I believe that the restoration of all things will start from His church (Revelations 2,3). More specifically it starts with the church leaders (Malachi 3:2-4).

However, the restoration of spiritual leaders will take a ‘longer time’, because it is highly tied with ego, prestige, and the desire to be the greatest. Because in restoring the leaders according to the accurate pattern, this is what God usually does. He will raise spiritual leaders with a distinct quality, whose local church manifest the ministry of the body of Christ. God raise these leaders as prototypes for other leaders and churches. Because in restoring something, God uses PEOPLE who have been formed and fashioned according to Christ Himself!

When God raises accurate leaders as models, the prestige and ego of other leaders will start to show. Usually they will ask: why not ME? Why is their church so SMALL yet everyone functions? Why must I, who are more senior, follow him? Why must I follow his teachings?

I believe, regardless of everything, God will heal His church! Therefore, He will crush the EGO of the leaders through all means! They will realize that they have lost God’s word and reality for so long!

Holy Spirit usually brings people who truly love God to meet spiritual leaders who carry His divine pattern! Then, they could clearly see the exemplary life of the leader and his people! What they have to do next is to ‘devote themselves in the apostles’ teaching’, and build their life (or church) according to the God-set pattern!

Through this, the Body of Christ will universally rise and bring in the reality of Kingdom government on this earth!

However, for those who harden their heart, God will not force them. He will keep moving and working with those who want to cooperate with Him! #iLoveGod
