This is a continuation of yesterday’s message.
We are talking about the benefits of praying God’s promises:
1. Every time we pray, our minds and emotions are filled with stronger awareness of God’s presence.
2. God will use us in partnership with the Holy Spirit, to influence and rebuild the spirit world over our lives.
3. We are injecting the divine life of the Word, into our lives.
John 1:4-5 (NKJV) In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
With the divine life, the light of God will immediately shine in our lives. Gives us a stature that will always prevail over any situation. This is the reason, the weak can say: “I am a mighty man!!” For all forms of weakness and helplessness are manifestations of our physical life, but divine life gives us strength and might, so when the divine life comes into our lives, there must be divine strength and energy that revive and moves our lives like a hero.
When His words are injected into our lives, the divine life and God’s light will burst out of our lives, removing all darkness and manifestations of death, even all the shocks around us will not affect our lives anymore.
1 Corinthians 15:53-54 (NASB1995) For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
When we diligently continue to pray and speak the Word, then this external life will begin to be replaced and filled with divine life. And when the divine life successfully filling and ruling our lives, then we will rise as different people, always full of the fire of the Spirit that leads us to always live victoriously. All forms and levels of the work of the death, we can easily conquer. Therefore we rise as strong and mighty people in the Spirit.
4. We are conditioning ourselves to live in our true identity in Christ
John 1:12 (NKJV) But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name
The Holy Spirit will help us to live our daily lives according to God’s ordinances, as written in the Scripture (Psalm 139:13-16). The Holy Spirit will guide our lives (like a GPS) so we can again be in harmony with God’s ways so that the days that God has set for our lives, as lives full of His glory will become part of our daily lives.
5. We are positioning ourselves to enjoy God’s goodness and all the good things of the Father
John 1:14 (TSI) So the Word became a human being and lived here with us. Some of us have seen His glory— the glory of the only Son of the Father. We know all of God’s kindness toward us through that Word, and He is very much worthy of trust.
Oftentimes our inaccuracies make the schemes of the evil one work their way into our lives. But by His steadfast love and goodness, He gives us a way out, even turning all negative situations that Satan designed into a good, beautiful, and noble plan in our lives.
6. We are brought connected to the fullness of Christ, and from His existence as the Great High Priest, we will receive grace upon grace
John 1:16 (NKJV) And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.
Hebrews 4:14-16 (NASB1995) Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
As long as there are weaknesses and inaccuracies in our lives, Satan will always have a chance to accuse us before the Father and take advantage of it by making his scheming plan happens to us. But the Bible emphasizes that of the fullness of Christ, we receive all the grace of the Father. Therefore, when we continue to pray the Word consistently, the Holy Spirit will help us to expose any weakness, limitation, or inaccuracy that is still entrenched in our lives.
When we respond accurately (with a spirit of repentance), then all sins and iniquities will be covered by Christ’s perfect sacrifice, which qualifies us to stand before the Father and receive His mercy and grace from the Throne room. Therefore, the Devil no longer has room to accuse us. Even by His grace, God gives us the strength and ability to live to please His heart.
7. We are personally brought to meet and have fellowship with the Father
John 1:18 (NKJV) No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.”
Through the Words we pray and declare, we are met with the Father. Christ, the Word of life, He is the way and the truth and the life, He brings us re-connected with the Father. Only by the existence of the Father and His Kingdom, our lives are distinguished and privileged among all nations on earth.
Let it be done in the name of Christ Jesus. Amen!!
